쿠로가와 마사유키 (JAPAN)

Design Concept

 나무의 결을 그대로 살리고 쓰는 이의 손에 길들여져 윤기와 체취가 스며드는 한국의 소반. 쿠로가와 마사유키는 이처럼 일상에서 벗과 같이 지내온 소반을 작은 아기고양이에 비유한다. 아기고양이의 따스하고 부드러운 감촉을 담아 늘 살갑게 붙어서 안정감을 주고 마음을 편안하게 해주는 소반으로 만들었다.

Utilizing the original wood grain, Masayuki's soban emits a natural sheen and fragrance. This soban could be likened to a small kitten with the feeling of warmth and softness that the soban emits, both with the wood grain and the soft rounded edge of the able that gives a sense of both stability and comfort.
