과거의 흔적 그리고 해체라는 조형언어로 집약되는 리베스킨트. 그는 우리의 기억과 맞닿아 있는 전통에 대한 흔적을 한복에 나타난 둥글려진 곡선과 버선코의 곡선이 이루어내는 아찔한 정교함으로 보았다. 순수단위인 곡선이 만나고, 나누어지며 만들어 진 비례의 미는 부드러움과 조화로움이 공존하는 우리 미의 질서와 닮아있다.
